Our Story

Nuyorican Books was founded in 2024 as a Puerto Rican owned publishing house dedicated to the ancestral art of storytelling. Our mission is to create a public record of our shared experiences from Puerto Rico through the diaspora. 

Through storytelling, we can ensure that little Boricuas across the globe have an entry point to access their ancestral history. Fostering bilingualism while celebrating the unique qualities of being Boricua are a priority for us and we're so excited to explore more of these themes with each published work.
